Fei and Tony visited Jeff’s family in Feb. It was around Jeff and Lucy’s birthdays, and it was so nice for us to be able to join their birthday celebrations. Jeff and Jennifer also arranged a short ski vacation near Truckee, Ca. Benjy was the most improved snowboarder, he learned snowboarding in 2 days. Lucy also got a chance to do skiing and truly enjoyed it. Of course, we (the adults) also got chance to snowboarding or skiing a little bit. However, the most joy for us was to witness kids’ first experience on snowboard and ski.
In March, we had chance to have a ski vacation with Jason’s family in Banff, Canada. Jason and Theresa have been snowboarding in Vancouver area a lot when they stayed in Vancouver, this is their first time snowboarding in the Banff area. Taiia did wonderful too in skiing. However, she had more fun by just playing with the snow.
